Minix smart box's .... worth it?

Hi guys! Been looking into buying a minix smart box . Perhaps the x8h model although in truth i have no idea what the difference is between that one and the cheaper versions. However, i would be using it with a 47inch tv and im wondering would the quality be poor?

For example, I often stream movies online on my 24inch imac and most films look fine! For example the older movies seem to be fine while the newer releases can be poor but they are still ok to watch. (Im not referring to movies uploaded from a camera by the way) Anyways the point im making is that if they only look ok on a 24inch screen, would they potentially look a lot worse on a 47inch screen? Or does the box do something to upscale image quality that you wouldnt otherwise experience when streaming movies online!

Im sure some of you ow these box's and can give me your own opinions on image quality/movie playback?

Im buying a brand new tv soon and would be a shame if movies looked crap on the display! Of course theres always a blue ray player and blue ray movies but that can be costly plus the box does more then just stream movies so if the quality is even close to true hd then they are without doubt worth the money :)

    Thoughts??
