Gas Boiler Valve

    Hi Folks,

Quick one about a gas boiler valve.

Basically my heating was'nt working the last two days, so i had a guy out yesterday who was working for about 30 mins on this and he told me the valve was gone. (apparently it’s the valve that regulates the gas flow into the boiler) and needs to be changed.

However, before he left he put the heating on (suprisingly it worked) so since yesterday the heating has been working sweet as a nut like there never was an issue. I have monitored this over the last 24 hours (switching on/off etc) and there now seems to be no issue.

I guess the question i am now asking does the valve still need to be changed?

    Appreciate your response.

    Thanks

Well if its working then no, but it could be an intermittent fault and could be back, if that's the case then it may possibly need replacing.

Who was the "guy" out yesterday ?
