Anyone noticed any problem with the water in Maynooth today? Just poured a glass and it's white. It settles and looks fine. Was fine yesterday.

Are the fire brigade testing their hydrants? During the summer this made the water a strange colour

Seems OK for me, came out clear and tastes OK.

Haven't noticed the drinking water being odd (haven't been home), but my toilet was making some funny noises this morning after we flushed it. Definitely must be something up with it

Yeah looks a bit dodgy, the water pressure was crap last night.

White water isn't an issue... it happens when the system is pressurised with air AFAIK.
If you leave it to settle for a minute it will go clear.

It was ok again last night. Maybe it was just that.

The water was off in the area early yesterday morning. It was starting to come back at around 6am, but took a few hours to get back to full pressure. Normally get some air in the system after they have been repairing a burst. Not sure what the actual problem was though. Irish Water just said essential maintenance.
