Wirelessly stream from laptop to tv

    I have a freind that wants to wirelessly connect her new Dell windows 8.1 laptop to her Panasonic viera tx-l39bl6b. There is a wireless broadband router in the house. I don't know enough about maracas to recommend it but I do own a chromecast. She wants to be able to view photos and videos. That's all. So extended desktop isn't completely necessary. Any advice would be appreciated.
