It did. Even the site layout seems to be the same, as well as the way they have worded the process of buying from them.
I can't find the original Thread, even though I think I posted on it, think I defended them......:o

edit; They were then called recoveredcarauctions.com ,
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=92851632

The old domain name no longer works. But if you do a google search and go into the cached pages of the results you will see that the old site had exactly the same wording as this newer version.

This is a big scam there is a guy called Michael who I contacted about a few different vehicles he had up in is website. Going to dirt cheap prestige top spec nearly new cars jeeps etc with their reg number covered up not shown on view??.
Knew it was well dodgy initially but said would for the laugh.
You had to wire the money to him first wait 2 days for money to clear into his account and couldn't go to see or check vehicles or test drive and even simply view them anywhere.
I emailed him a couple different times in relation to 1 particular vehicle and all the replys didn't really add up. He didn't know where the live auctions were going to be held.
I checked the Business address on Google maps it is a small house in rural Swindon down a little lane way. When I cooled my interest in the vehicles I was inquiring about he emailed me to say they were all sold a couple of days later, and did I want to be put a priority list for when the same type came in again. So only days later he sent me a email with 2 different vehicles exactly same type and year and mileage and colour and about 35 pictures of each vehicle that I was interested in etc.
Thaught it would be at least couple of months before this would happen. But he forgot to cover the reg number as he use to for all the other cars shown up on his website??. So here is a chance to check out this vehicle so I entered the reg in google and this vehicle appeared instantly for sale with a big UK car company that sells high end nearly new cars called imperial car supermarket they are nation wide company with a very impressive cars just like the ones on repossessedcarsby banks .com??. As it turns out Michael just copied and pasted all the cars and pictures and the spec of the cars from their website and up loaded on to his website and just put a random very low price on them just to see would anyone chance it. But only difference was he had covered the reg number so was next to impossible to do any checks before buying them of his which he obviously never had in then first place. Rang the car dealer in Southampton UK to tell them that this scam artist was trying to use their cars and website on the pretense of selling low cost high end cars to anyone who will wire money to his bank account. This guy Michael Solan turns out to be the registered opener of the Business and listed as one the directors in this company. It seems he is involved in a few other so called business as his name has come up in a few different searches.
This is definitely a guy with a laptop and phone in a bedroom or garage in house scam job. Cant see repossessedcarsbybanks .com lasting too long before all the legit garage dealerships get on to him..
