    Hi, I'm jobless and really struggling without a job,finding difficult to survive,went to dun laoghaire social welfare office to claim for unemployment benefit,i explained all my situation and the person whom I dealt with was so mean,I wish to disclose his name, B<<modsnipped>> is his name,I told him I'm struggling to pay my rent, he immediately told he dont care,he asked me for all sort of document and i arranged everything,he was finding reason to say no for my claim.so is there anyone here can advice me to survive at this situation,i have several years of experience in retail sales, hotel reception,worked as staff,supervisor and manager,but at present I'm ready to work in any discipline.

    hi,
    I have been working as a casual staff with Westin for almost 22 months,but with some personal reasons I had to stop working.discrimination stuffs like that.
    I'm in ireland for last 9 years,worked in different places,I'm an Indian married ,seperated now for last 2 and half years, living in same apartment for the sake of kids,but paying rent,but for the last few months I havent paid rent,she is unhappy for that.looking for jobs nothing going well.

    Hi,

    If you left ur job, you wont be able to apply for Jobseeker benefit/allowance for 9 weeks.
    However there is Social welfare supplement claim, you may be entitled if you can prove that your income is too low to support yourself .

    the company didnt call me for duty for few months,so i went to social welfare for claim,and they asked me to get P45,so i went to ask for it,so the company asked me to resign from the job saying the reason personal,so i did so, i finished working in september,
