    Anyone know where jobs for this visa are advertised?
    It seems to be a visa for seasonal work, but I could be wrong.

    http://www.cis.org/h-2b-guestworkers May be worth a read, it's one of these visas designed to take advantage of the holder. It also is restrictive in that you can't be permanent on it and it does not lead to green card

    Maximum is 10 months a year, but employer can apply again for you to stay on but you can't do no more than 3years
