Can I change the timing cover gasket without taking the engine out?

    HI GUYS, I'm really sorry if i puts this question in the wrong place. but my question is can i change the timing cover gasket on a MICRA 96 PLATE without taking the engine out . it looks very tight in there
    need all the help i can get on this one , anyone got experience with this please , many many thanks jim

    well, i managed to get it done , then car got stolen , and SMASHED UP . LITTLE GITS

    That is ****ty and hope they got hurt.Few days after servicing mine it gets rear ended and written off.
