    Out again with 8 month old drake again today,he flushed this cock which flew out over a high wall I shot him,the bird ran strongly on hitting the ground,I had to lift drake over the high wall and as soon as he hit the trail he was off like a rocket on the scent,he found the bird dead about 50 yards away under some briars,he then delivered the bird to hand,saying I'm pleased is somewhat of an understatement.
