Just upgraded my Moto G to the new 4G model. Used Motorola Migrate to transfer my contacts etc. How do I get my apps to transfer over? I don't fancy installing them individually? Apologies for the silly question :o

Android will automatically download your apps when you sign into Google Play. You could have also backed up your contacts to your Google account without having to migrate contacts.

I can see them all in Google Play. Do I have to be connected to wifi to get them on to the phone?

It may be in your settings that apps are not updated or downloaded except over wifi. This helps keep your data allowance in check. Depending on the number and size of the apps, I'd only download what you need now and let it get the rest when you're connected to wifi.
