I'm a little bit insulted that this man has been made look like he's whiter than snow on Sky this morning and not a word said about what he done to us in Paris.

I'm pulling the plug on Sky - that may seem over the top to some but there is a large subscription base here for Sky and I'm sure the majority will be cheesed off.

    Thoughts?

this is a waste of money
Sky should be trying to get the bundesliga, Serie A for Sky Sports 5
Does anyone in Ireland watch live dutch football

I have the setanta pack on sky for the bundesliga, european cup rugby and alternative champions league live games
Sky Sports is overpriced and I have subscribed so far this season

Would you get over the bloody Paris thing!!

Henry is a football legend and is possibly the best player to have ever played in the EPL. He was astounding!

As a broadcaster though? He's dull and boring as all hell!

You have to hand it to him.... that's a nice handy job he's after grabbing himself....

Give him a hand on landing the job.

Just a reminder that there is no discussion of anything actually taking place on a football pitch on this forum. Take it to Soccer (or maybe After Hours) if you want to talk about this.

Discussion of sports - any sports - in this forum is limited strictly to broadcasting arranngements and the resulting coverage.

What about puns regarding him getting the role? Everyone love puns...

Not a lad to let an opportunity slip through his fingers

What has any of that got to do with Henry?

He was commenting how Sky would be better off investing in more European footballer than Henry as a pundit. He isn't the best pundit and Sky Sports 5 certainly could do with a bigger catalogue of football to show.

The cost of a pundit would be covered by a few ad breaks

Really that cheap? I thought he'd be on much more than that! How much are Redknapp, Neville and Carragher getting?

An ad break on Super Sunday would bring in a bit. Is Henry going to be on as often as those three? They are more like presenters than pundits.

No Irish player has ever, ever cheated to gain an advantage?

The fact that Irish players admitted afterwards they'd've done the exact same thing if it was the other end of the pitch has been forgotten about then?

The Irish reaction to it at the time was embarrassing to say the least - even moreso to be still going on about it :)

    Totally agree
As an arsenal fan I can't stand to listen to him, he gets most of his opinions from all his time under Arsene Wenger anyway!

It was the first story that was on the Sky Sports News channel every hour yesterday.

    It annoyed me.

Still think a couple of ad breaks will cover it?

It's reported today though that his salary is £4 million per year.

That's a large sum for a very big cheat

If that figure is correct then that's ludicrous. Nobody on TV deserves that kind of money
