Anyone ever use an electric one? (Mains or Battery)

Looking to buy one, but all the online reviews are poor.
Any shops selling them in Irl ?

    Don't be lazy !

    Look on it as excerise.

Jokes aside, if you need it I'm sure a wine retailer could recommend/sourse a good brand as hotels proberly use heavy duty ones.

Or I provide free wine opening and tasting service.

I remember back yonks ago there was an opener that was like a syringe you put into the cork and pumped, is that still out there I wonder.

Oh thanks. I'll send her down on the free pass, but you have to look after her!

It seems to be one of those things that seem pointless until (mother) really needs it. (bad arthritis)
not having any luck with something that will fit in the kitchen.

OP I have one of these not in use and in Bray. I have no need of it (unwanted gift). You are welcome to it (it is a North Wicklow thing). Works a treat. Mind you I have not seen it in a while, I will have to root it out!

You can get bar mounted wine openers but we always forgo them for the classic waiters friend, by far the easiest, cheapest and smallest tool for the job.

The OP had just replied to say that their mother has bad arthritis, so I guess that's the reason they're looking for a powered version.
