Hey guys - just looking for some leads as to where to get Brewdog in the city.

I'm looking to get my hands on a few bottles for my boyfriend for Christmas. He's tried a few already so I'm trying find ones that hopefully he hasn't tried!

    Any suggestions?

Craft beer suggestions also welcome :P

Not really city centre but sweeneys in phibsboro is probably worth a few minutes on the bus they have a decent range. I used to live in Kenya and was amazed to find the beer we used to drink there!

Brewdog is relatively well available, where are you based? Might be somewhere close by.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Carlow. I think the O Briens has Punk Ipa and Dead Pony (maybe?) but I'm trying to get my hands on some of the limited / rarer ones.

I've emailed four corners too but I'll be in Dublin on Thursday so thinking my best shot will be off licenses in the big smoke.

Ah I see :) in that case drinkstore is your best bet as others have mentioned.

Molloys on Francis Street had an extensive selection of BrewDog recently.

Thanks lads! Yeah drinkstore has an impressive range, and they'll even deliver for free if I spend 70 euro so.. that's that I think.

    Cheers lads. Happy Christmas! :D

Just for general info to add to Drink Store and Redmonds, Deveneys in Dundrum village is great.

    Good selection and friendly staff.

Probus Wines on Fenian Street is probably the best off licence in the city centre.

Molloys on Francis Street has a far better selection. Probus is expensive and <snip>

In terms of pubs in the City Centre, Brew Dock on Amiens Street have a great selection of craft beers and beers from microbreweries and stuff. I can't recall if they have Brewdog, but worth a try if you're around that neck of the woods.

I know McHugh's off-licence on the Malahide Road in Artane sell it (they also have a store in Kilbarrack) and Martin's off-licence in Marino might be another good place to try.

I'm not sure about off-licences within the City Centre though, sorry.

Used to go to them all regularly and found Redmonds to be the best.

Ill second Sweeney's, they have a vast range and the two lads are very knowledgeable. Brewdog is widely available across the city though so you should have no problem finding it

Just visited Sweeneys for the first time in years.they have so many craft beers now. Plus their wines are reasonable for an independent off licence. The owner is excellent and doesn't do the usual hard sell of the most expensive item like my boss used to do with customers when I worked in a premium supermarket.

Sweeneys have a huge range of craft ciders and a fair amount of German beers that I rarely seen

Martins in Fairview have a pretty decent selection.

Sweeneys for me. Used to live around the corner from it and definitely had one of the best ranges ive ever seen!

Always find Probus' selection to be a bit all over the place.

    Sweeney's & Martins aren't city centre though.

Celtic Whiskey Shop do have some craft beers too, don't they?

But Sweeneys is only like 4 kilometers max from the city. Its hardly a trek. Its just not financial possible to have a huge wine merchants/craft beer store in the city center

True enough, but most people would regard the city centre as being between the canals.Sweeneys is a 45second walk north of crossguns bridge to be fair :)
Id imagine Celtic whiskey shop would stock some beers, but id also imagine the prices would turn some people teetotal!

my house is exactly 4.4 kilometres from the spire and I live in finglas(runtastic app) Sweeneys would be 1.5k max.

They are the cheapest of all the specialists in my experience. A good distance cheaper than Redmonds.

Mace on South Circular Road (near St James Hospital Rialto entrance) ane another one on the South Circular across from Griffith College both have fine selections of craft and imports. (Carry out I think that one is?)

Closer to home for you, I know that Carpenter's in Carlow town stock a small amount of craft beers, not quite sure if they ever had Brewdog though. Failing that, Kilkenny might do the job.

Should be easy to find up here though.

Have to second this, a surprisingly great selection for a shop that's not an out and out off license find some great deals on the beer and a lot just as good if not cheaper than drinkstore
