That's retarded. Front fogs don't usually blind, rear fogs do.

    You're the bigger idiot.

That depends, they're pretty harsh during the night on some cars. Especially if it's raining.

Rear fogs are no brighter than brake lights really, pointless exercise putting them on to prove a point.

How about you don't look into peoples headlights, might work out better for you

So blinding an oncoming driver is alright? Front fogs really aren't that bad, bar on old Micras where they're stronger than the dipped beam.

I'd rather share the roads with the fog lights than the OP. He'll probably win a deserved Darwin award when a blinded driver ploughs into him.

Blinding someone is stupid, but if someone's foglights are dazzling me (again, usually the rain), I'll give them the old flash now and then. (First a foglight flash, then a high beam flash, usually they get the message).

i can't really remember ever being dazzled by front fogs. they are only 150 - 200mm from the road surface, you'd have to be driving something like this to get dazzled.

doesn't the science behind front fogs mean that they point primarily downwards anyway?

That is why they blind you in the rain.

    why?

isn't rain just like less dense fog?

i mean light refracts in water, so surely headlights would be as much an issue as fog lights in the rain then? we should just turn our lights off in the wet.
