Surface pro keyboard

    I got a new more expensive keyboard for the young lad for school.
    The one that came with it was a cheap fragile one. Now when he connects the newer one it lights up grand , the contacts between keyboard and computer are fine - he can't type ,on it. I reckon he isn't have inadvertently pressed a shortcut or something that has it inactive (I hope!) has anyone come across this issue before.THKS PADDY.

    It happens mine, rarely, assuming the contacts are clean try sliding the keyboard left or right while its attached. Normally sorts it out for me.
