yes, have a look here as well

    http://www.saortv.info/satellite-saorsat/saorsat-reception/

You can get it on a sky dish as I did here in clare.

Are they tricky to set up these Saorsat LNB Ka's.?

Just had an answer from tvtrade.ie and he reckons the're
    tricky to set up
    .

I want it because I have a projector and need a RTE signal for it.

Up to now I've been using a TV dongle on the PC, and outing to projector from PC video card, works but can't use PC then.

You must have a good Saorview signal then? Would it not be less hassle to just get a cheap terrestrial receiver? (Even Saorview approved can be got for less than €50.)

@Thurston?. Ah Je that's a bit too obvious. (But I hadn't thought of it all the same!)

You are right of course. Money wise the might be around €10 in it. and I get the RTÉ Aertel Digital & TV Guide.

    Against,
1 more box + remote, running extra cable inside the house as against running it into the sat box.

I'll start looking around for a Saorview box..........
    thanks

Maybe you already have a suitable dish already set up & all? I should have asked.

I suppose in that case if you now have the LNB too (what about the DiSEqC switch?), you might as well get all the channels you want on 1 box.

I currently have 2 and 1/2 working dishes , ( + 1 non-working biodegradable dish -- --- has wooden LNB arm!) and 2 sat boxes. 1 sat box, €30 is just for sat radio, it just switches instantly and the TM is HD and is just to slow to switch radio channels.

The 1/2 working dish, old shaky Sky dish, is currently on Hotbird and thought of using this for Saorsat. I also have 2 diseqs. 2 diseqs as I have a good Sky dish with twin LNB and also take a radio feed from big dish which is on 19E,Astra 1.

I'll start casting an eye about for an old Saorview box, might work out cheaper and less of a pain than setting up a Ka LNB with my present config.

P.S. As TV3 is not on Saorsat, I would have to revert to USB dongle to project their champion's League matches, or whatever else is on TV3.
    tnks
