Couple on disability allowance and Jsa

Hi, my mother is currently a dependant on my fathers DA payment, they have two dependant children. I wanted to know how their money would work out if my Mother transfers onto her own payment, jsa. she wants to do this but is worried it could negatively affect their money. But the way I see it is it would work out better…
