    Hello all,
70k miles on the clock and one of my control arms is on the way out!

Just wondering what makes of control arm have fellow drivers tried?

I got some spurious ones fitted before to a vw i used to have and they didnt last long so went with OEM ones and they were grand at the time.

I see TRW and SEBE control amrs from a quick google. Also heard you can get steel control arms but they are probably harsh on the ride.

Reliability & longevity would be my primary concern as there are 4 arms each side.

    Thanks for reading.

meyle or lemforder are the preferred choice for my b6 a4 anyway id assume be same for your 09, they are expensive but they will outlast the cheap parts, euro car parts sell them separate or http://www.allgermanparts.co.uk/ sell a complete kit

Lemforder or Audi OE would be best. Avoid Meyle - they're complete junk. If you want a more pocket friendly option Febi Bilstein are not bad.

    Thanks for that.

Lemforder would be your number 1 over all the rest?
