Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is out apparently. Anyone know if Tower or HMV have it in stock (yes I know I could call them).

The track "Sugah Daddy" is pretty cool.

I'm looking to get the vinyl really soon, I know for sure it's in the UK HMV so it's most likely in the HMV in town.

The track Really Love is my favorite at the moment.

Cool. I'll check the shops tomorrow or just get it on iTunes.

Sugar Daddy's great but sounds more like a 70s throwback than I was hoping, the greatest thing about Voodoo was how absolutely modern it even still sounds, stands out so much from everything else.

...although if this album is all as good as Sugar Daddy, you're talking about classic Stevie Wonder territory, which is hardly a bad thing! :D

I just bought it on iTunes last night. Listened to the first two tracks, sounds pretty barmy!

I'm excited and scared to listen to the album. I've skimmed it and that put's things more on the excited side.
What I did note, the production nuances from Q-Tip and drums from Questlove are quite noticeable.

Have given it a good listen. For the most part it is excellent, however it isn't a patch on Voodoo and is more on the same level as Brown Sugar.

I find the first two / three songs a bit of a mess but then it settles in and there's some fantastic stuff. Really Love, Betray My Heart, Back To The Future, Sugah Daddy, Prayer are all excellent. The playing, the vocals, the chord changes that make you go "woh!" and the production techniques are really something. He seems to be able to put all these things together in a way that no one else has.

I feel it ends weakly though; at the moment Another Life is my least favourite track on the album. It sort of just sounds like D'Angelo singing with the Roots on John Legend's album, if you know what I mean. Compare that to "Africa" on Voodoo as an album closer and you'll see what I mean.

Still, you gotta hand it to him; he's pushed R&B that little bit further still.

Didn't know this even existed, must check it out.

Always been a shame that he didn't release more.

One of my favourite albums of the last year. Top tracks would be Sugah Daddy, BTTF part 1 and Betray my Heart. The production is top notch as well.

Saw him live twice on the European tour, amazingly tight band. You don't expect his voice to be as good as it is when you see him, it's exactly like on the record
