Anyone know what the closing date is to avail of 1.9% repayment deal. Gives 3 year warranty etc plus technology package said to be worth €1000. Dealers all seem to be pushing for earlier closure pre Xmas. Is it a ploy to up the end of year sales etc. what I want to know if same deal will be available come Jan 2015.

The 1.9 % deal is till the end of December .. VW dealers won't know till January if it will continue my local dealers sales are up on last year and he reckons 110000 new cars will be sold in 2015

do you have 20K KM per year for the hire Purchase deal ?

I was looking for a audi few day ago and get 2.9% and 20K KM per year which is also very good.

you have the place your order before Jan though and you will get your 151 car in Jan.

Your not limited by mileage on a higher purchase deal .. with the pcp I took out on a highline golf (141) I was told excess mileage would only apply if I was to hand back the car in 2017 ...

The only time excess mileage will does not matter is if you plan to pay the final balloon payment. Otherwise the GFV will be adjusted, or you'll have to pay something if you hand back the car. Since handing it back with nothing more to pay was based on the assumption that 20,000 kms per annum would not be exceeded.

Does anybody know how VW calculate the penalty is you need to get out of the deal early- e.g. say you want to trade up after a year or two years, and the PCP agreement is for 3 years. What happens say if you get a windfall and want to buy the car outright after a 12 months into the agreement?
