Through the wall postbox

We've currently got a postbox on a wall, which works fine, but it sticks out a bit into the footpath but I thought it'd be nice to have the box flush to the wall or pillar and access the mail from the back.

From looking online the "through the wall" boxes are anywhere from 200e to 400e, i.e. about 10 times more than a standard post box, however they are cast iron products usually.

Has anyone ideas on how to do this a little cheaper, and still look good?
