I have done my fair share of pigeon/crow shooting over the last few years and the best cartridge that I have used are RC Sipe 32grm 6s for range, hard hitting and money. Excellent cartridge for shooting pigeon in all conditions. I bought these this year for 260euro a thousand so definitely not bad on the pocket. I see someone else is recommending Olympic trap 71/2s which I have used and found very good in certain circumstances, i.e. pigeons decoying well and mainly being shot coming straight on or crossing out to about 35 yards. After that they just aren't consistent enough and I was hitting hard too many birds that were still flying away injured using these and equivalents. For the sake of 15euro a case I couldn't see past the Sipe.

Great shell are Eley superb I shot 100s of pigeons with them Last season and they won't break the bank think they are 60 euro for 250. Have tried the usual fob,Diana and have to say these have great knocking power

Eley trap for me too. Not a lot of meat damage with them.
