Ready to buy one of these now and keep changing my mind!

I was originally looking at e92 335i but they aren't the most reliable..

    my focus is now on a 2008 tt 2.0 tfsi or a e92 325i 3.0i

the BMW will cost a bit more , repairs etc will cost more too but petrol/tax is slightly cheaper (2008 version).

I'm guessing the tt will be easier to sell on in a years time and will probably depreciate a little less. I haven't driven one but have had 2 mk5 Gtis before which share the same engine.

I have also driven the e92 325i with the 2.5l engine. On paper, this puts out the same power as the 3.0 but I believe the 3.0 is a nicer drive and a but quicker?

Any views on what to go for?

Image wise I would consider the E92 more of a mans car.

How tall are you, can you fit in a TT?

6 cyl NA petrol vs 2l turbo... I know which I'd choose... in fact, I already have! (N52 3l)

Is the 325i not the same tax as the 330i? maybe try get one of them...

I cannot imagine a TT being much cheaper to repair than an E92.

the 325 is E570 and 330 E750 in manual AFAIK... off the top of my head the 325 does 0-100 in 6.6 and 330 in 6 flat.
