Can you get it delivered to your workplace. You might be able to change the address and have it delivered to a neighbour or family or friends house.

I get friends to leave stuff in a bag in my green bin if I am out, not sure if any courier would do this as it may leave them open to claims.

Some couriers will take it back to their depot and you have to collect within a certain time.

If you can ask your neighbour to keep an eye out if they haven't confirmed that they will deliever to your friends house.

I landed home last week to find a parcel with quite an expensive piece of jewellery sitting on my windowsill. Not only was there a chance of the jewellery being taken it was also advertising to any passing burglar that my house was empty.
