The house I bought has 4 rooms tiled and it's time I tackled them after 2 years,
I done a small room with just a hammer and chisel, very painstaking to get the floor smooth again, end up have to make a small bit of concreate to smoothen the bits were I was a bit to hard.
I've a bathroom the main hall corridor and kitchen left, all high traffic areas in a house, what's the best way to tackle them.

These things fly through the tile adhesive like butter. The other attachment in pic is one to use. Think Lidl or Aldi had them in recently if I'm not mistaken.

it's always difficult to know how well they stuck. I've taken up whole floors in an hour and also spent all day getting others up.
Use a Spade, a Bolster and lump Hammer. Or quickest way is to just hire a Kango hammer for a 1/2 day or day. Make sure to keep children out of the room and where goggles. You would be surprised how far little splinters fly.
Get a few boxes from the supermarket for putting the waste in as Bags are no good. you'll be surprised how much you have.

I done a floor a few years back all I used was a spade and hit each tile a good whack of a hammer first

and I would agree 100 % with sky6 re the splinters

Could go over them if they are well fitted
