Lethal Injection

Inkeeping with the morbid fascination that frequents this forum, I had a minor surgery yesterday. I had an IV line in my hand and was hooked up to various different monitors as it got closer to me being knocked out. I was quite nervous due to a previous bad hospital experience so was given a shot to calm me down and then the anaesthetic shot, at this point my nerves were so shot they could have done anything to me.
It got me thinking what if I was on an excecution Gurney and the same man came over to me in the distressed state I was in with an injection and said "I am going to kill you now" and quite literally proceed to do just that, I don't know how I would have reacted.

I'm guessing that your reaction would have been 'dying'.

Was this hospital actually a biker bar?

No it was a real life hospital but an experience I'd rather forget all memory of. When the anaesthetist was injecting me with all those things, one could have been poison but I was too scared to notice.

Imagine being strapped into the gurney staring up at the ceiling knowing that your time is just about up, all the thoughts flooding through your head of how you wound up in such a situation. Even the most callous of monsters must feel fear.

I'd be more worried if the man gave a vivid description of his sexual fantasy while your going under

Psychopaths don't process fear the same way the rest of us do.

This is more like it and saves the unnecessary expense of needle sterilisation.
