Stranded Seabirds Winter 2014: a request for records

Got this mail from Niall Keogh:

Severe storms last winter resulted in a major 'wreck' of dead or weakened seabirds occurring along the Atlantic coast of several European countries. The observed knock on effect of this was a decrease in the number of breeding birds present at certain colonies.

With the first major winter storm having hit the West coast of Ireland this week, BirdWatch Ireland are looking records/pics of any stranded seabirds along the coast over the following days, weeks and months. For more details please see the latest post on the seabird blog http://seabirdwatchireland.blogspot.ie/2014/12/stranded-seabirds-winter-2014-request.html
If any live seabirds are found which may require rehabilitation then please consult the Irish Wildlife Matters website www.irishwildlifematters.ie for guidance and details of any listed vets or rehabilitators which may be able to help.
