The battery you linked to is for a Macbook.

You need a battery for a Macbook Pro. Your battery is fixed inside the case and needs to be replaced at an apple service provider

You can buy the battery on Amazon Marketplace or Ebay and replace it yourself easily enough. But you won’t be able to get a genuine Apple battery.

any recommendations for a spurious battery manufacture Anker seem ok?

I’ve never heard of Anker. From a quick search of Amazon it seems they only make user-replaceable batteries for earlier MacBooks. Like ShevY said, you need to make sure you are getting the right battery for your Macbook.

I can’t recommend anyone since afaik they all come from the same factories in China making knockoffs. You never know what you are getting. They aren’t tested properly, so there’s always a risk.
