IPush Miracast? wireless transmitter

I recently bought a cheap IPush dongle to stream video from my Macbook to my tv. Only seems to send audio sometimes and not video. I wanna be able to stream / mirror whats on the laptop. It's a 2009 Macbook air so no Airplay afaik. Anyone have any experience with these?
