Evening all, only spotted it this afternoon. But is it just me or has anyone else noticed Boeing seem to have applied the same intensity of the strobes and beacon from the Dreamliners onto the newer Boeing B737NG's - Namely I spotted EI-FEF on finals into R28 when I was walking to the security gate near Cargo and noticed it. I prefer the intensity of the older strobes myself!

Told nerd question I know. :D

Noticed this as well. I think they're LEDs as they don't flash quite the same - they 'flash on' for a longer period. But even nerdier than you, I noticed that the new ones are just on the wings. The strobe at the APU is the same as the older ones. :)

I think even the most 'normal' (whatever that is) folk might notice details of something changing in their interest area. The amount of shame here :p

Same strobes used on 747-800.Used to make it easy to spot them but not any more.
