Student leap card

    Ok, I finally invested in a student leap card today and registered it on the normal site. Now, it won't let me top up online. Have I done something wrong? The leap card site is crap and I don't have time to scan through 30 FAQ's which all are asking and answering the same thing!!

    Your better off doing it in a shop or at one of the Luas / Dart ticketing machines.
    The website is crap along with the online way of topping up. (you still have to use the shop / Luas / Dart machines to validated your leap card)

    So do I need to do anything else to validate my card? I can just top up in a shop and use it then?

    If you top up in a shop or on one of the machines your card is ready to go for use on any of the transport services.

    Thanks. The website is really poor. They use a font size of about 4 and it's impossible to find basic instructions on how to validate a card.

    There's a seperate site for the student leap card on which there is just loads of links back to the normal site :mad:

    You can increase the font size. See the A A+ A++ buttons top right.
