Beware of Buying from Currys Online

    Is anyone else having problems receiving orders from Currys? I made an order online on Cyber Monday, 1 December. It said I should receive it in 3-5 working days. All the information I can receive when I track the order online is the following;

    Delivery Date: Unavailable
    Status: Order Pending.

    It is impossible to talk on the phone to anyone in Currys in Ireland about the order. The helpline I reached (in the UK) said my only option was to send an email, to which I received an automated response asking for my patience and stating their processing and delivery times have been affected by a large volume of orders.

    Think twice before ordering from Currys this time of year.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Their Twitter support seems to be quite active, you could try contacting them there? http://twitter.com/knowhowtohelp

    I've tried Twitter, Facebook and emails, but unfortunately nothing has worked.

    OK.. got an email this morning to say my delivery will arrive today. However I had cancelled this order last Friday and I went and bought the similiar item yesterday even though it was E20 dearer. I have been unable to contact Currys and when I did ring their 1890 number I got through to a call centre in England and they would not deal with the query. Does anyone have a contact for them....
