    Hi there
Does anyone burn phurnacite in their stove? Is the good heat output? Is it safe or does it damage the chimney? Currently nursing wood but disappointed with the output -9kwat stove. Thanks in advance.

I tried it 2yrs ago . Not great heat so I switched to argina ecobrite. Brilliant heat from it & lasts hours. Very clean like glass don't get stained & costs €21 for a 40kg bag which I get about nine days from

Tried the ecobrote but have to say I was v disappointed with the heat. Might try a mixture if the two, it is really trial and error!

Did you try blackdiamond premium stove fuel that's ment to be very good. I find the best way to pump out the heat is leave the window wash at the top open & fully open the main spin wheel when lightning. Once it's roaring red close the main spin wheel down so it's only barely open like 3turns & leave the window wash open for a clean burn. Others on here might have better ideas.
