    hi all, i have a grand vitra 07 and a while a ago gear start to get a little harder to get.so i went to the garage he though it was clutch first but then saw a fluid piple unclipped and figered it was air in the cluid. he bleed it and all was well gears were eary to get but what my problem is now is in the morning when the jeep is cold i cant get first second third or reverse. but when the engine has reached temp its fine. anybody got any ideas thank to all great great thread

    I would say the oil is just old and lost it's mojo.
    It should be easy enough to change
    There are 2 plugs on the gearbox
    One at the bottom do drain and one usually half way up the box

    Arthur lad, whatever browser/device you are using to access the internet has ADHD - it posted the same post about 10 times for you yesterday, but usually does two.

    rossit, it's worth having it looked at. Some boxes are a pain in the cold but maybe a gearbox oil change will fix it, or it may be a clutch thing.
    Try double clutching in the mean time - usually gets mine to behave for the first few miles.
