Hi

Looking to research this for a mate and interested in opinions on electric fires and what to look out for (brand/make/type).

Unfortunately electric is the only option for the apartment. Are they good enough to heat an open plan sitting room/kitchen?

Are they expensive to run?

I presume all i need to do is run it to a switch or socket and mount it on a wall.

any thoughts would be really appreciated. the storage heater that is currently in the room stuck in the corner is useless.
