does anyone here know what could cause a huge pressure drop on mains water? i live just outside town and am on mains water, some of our neighbors had water meters installed but our stopcock and some of the neighbors can't be found so they skipped us. Could there be dirt in the mains? Any help would be much appreciated as i don't want to be hauling water up to the attic all over christmas. cheers.

Is this only today or on going ?

Council often drop pressure in an area if doing work near by.

If ongoing contact council, pressure drop is also a sign of a leak on YOUR mains supply, espescialy if next door has good supply.

    Ring Enda !!
