    Hey Guys

I recenly came across a video online for the new Oakley tactical boots and I thought they were the bomb !

Cant seem to find anywhere in Ireland that sell them.

I am looking for a good, light, all purpous tactical boot that can be worn daily but can withstand bad weather / terrain.

I was buying these with the posibility of snow in mind so that would also be a slight requirement.

I would be willing to spend up to 200 if they are really good. Please let me know what is the best option and if you have any urls of good sources for gear in Ireland that would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to reading your replies,

    Thanks in advance
    Cabinteely !

plenty of sources, really. Haix, magnum and other "military" brands are available from MilSurp places like Protac and Army Bargains. have a look at Irishmilitaryonline for practical opinions.

Got a pair of Magnum Stealth Force about a year ago, can´t recommend them enough for winter wear, they´re great. I use them for country walking, done a good few hundred kilometres and they still like new. Great ankle support. The sole is non-slip even on wet tiles, and the rounded heel is great for driving. They took a couple of weeks to break in though, but I love them now.

Lots of decent boots out there, I use polimil.co.uk -- I' using a pair of Lowa Zephyrs at the moment. Comfy as runners, goretex lined and rock solid.
