    So this years census has no bearing on payments. So its just another piece of beurocracy. Will their be any payment linked to sheep numbers in the future ?

    They take a average of the last two census you returned.ie 2012 + 2013 average=2014 payment read it's worth average of 7 to 7.50 a head this year. Should buy a bag of ration for each ewe this year!!

    Is it 2014 payment is what will be used for the calculations into the SFP for the new Base payment rates?

    Or is it 2013 sheep payment, wihch will be used for the base payment calculations?

    Just checked on agfood, and its showing as paid today.

    So should hit the bank account Friday I guess.

    I'm guessing that mine is based on my 2013 census when I only had 6 breeding ewes and I think its averaged over 2 years so that would give me 3 ewes for it. Ah well, at least I'm in the system....

    Ah that must be it alright only had 3 ewes the rest were under 12 months last year and none in 2012
