Classic Tracks Available Digitally

I'm gonna start posting links to some classic or hard to find tracks, specifically those that you wouldn't expect to see on places like Beatport. I'll provide the Beatport link and a YouTube link. Feel free to join in.

Kerri Chandler's 'Atmospheric Beats'. This is an extended version of 'Track 1' from his Atmosphere EP. The original is not available digitally, and I haven't got around to picking it up on vinyl yet. So I was delighted to come across this version. There's a good review of this on Discogs, which offers a compelling argument as to why it's actually the superior version. Personally, I'm not so sure, but it's definitely a cracker. YouTube.

Mr. G's remix of Mike Grant's 'The Struggle of My People'. I missed out on the recent reissue of this bad boy. It takes a while to reach the vocal sample but it's worth the wait! YouTube.

Kyle Hall's 'Down!'. This is only a couple of years old. It was reissued recently at an inflated price, and with a 7" that I didn't want. This is why it's handy having a CDJ. YouTube.

DJ Sprinkles' stunning remix of Parallax Beat Brothers' 'Exhalation'. There's very little of Terre's stuff available digitally, so this was a pleasant surprise. This also takes a few minutes but it's from the gods. YouTube.

Roy Davis Jr's 'All I Do'. This won't be to everyone's taste, but I think it's an out and out classic. Omar S is a big fan and it features regularly in his sets. In fact he reissued it on FXHE some time ago. YouTube.

Mood II Swing's 'Do It Your Way'. This one's on Beatport on a few different labels, so you might have come across it already. But it had a 'vinyl only' reissue recently, so some people might be happy to get their hands on it. This has to be in the top 10 house basslines of all time. YouTube.

Theo Parrish's 'Ebonics'. I don't like a lot of Theo's 4/4 productions. I think his jazzy stuff of the past ten years is his best material. Nonetheless, this is a masterful piece of work (although like most of Theo's stuff it's about 4 minutes too long). He's releasing a lot of his early house tracks on digital for the first time, for anyone that's interested. You'll get them over at Boomkat for a better price. YouTube.

I have that on vinyl but I always loved the track on the other side.

All Night Long. It's samples MJ, although it's not credited on the record.

Yeah I have the vinyl as well. To be fair, 'All Night Long' is the better track. 'Do It Your Way' is more of a tool, but it's executed brilliantly.

However, my favourite Mood II Swing production is this little gem. It's just a killer groove.
