Which is the best quality tractor paint ?
I have used tractol and some other one called coral (something) a white tin with green writing both seemed ok I even threw in a bit of hardener and it dried quicker and seemed harder ?
But which is the best one out there for use with a brush or roller.
Ps: is rust-oleum any good ?
    Thanks all.

Have a look at www.club80-90.co.uk there is a long running discussion on roller painting there. Camper vans.

If using brush just buy the cheapest paint possible cos its goin to use more paint and will never look as good as a tidy spray job.A 5 litre drum of tractor paint should be no more than e60

Said it before - we have used them all and Sparex Paint is by far the best.
Its what all the second hand tractor dealers use. Exact colour match.
More expensive than most but it matches well and covers good. You can thin it by 25% By far the best results are with the spray gun.
2K hardener can be added to aid finish.
If its a cheap finish or job you want such as a bale trailer then its too exp but spraying a tractor or machine a couple of euro spent on good paint and of course a good preparation and primer will pay dividends:)

I spray alot of tractors for local dealers(mostly panels and bonnets as they do chassis themselves)and 2k is the only paint used.At the moment it can be bought for same price as sparex, which is good paint but its still only 1k enamel.Adding a small bit of hardner will make it go off a bit quicker but a side affect can be paint fading quicker.Personally i wouldnt put hardner in it as there two completely different paint systems.Better off use one or the other
