    3. Take off the heat and stir in the cheese (if using), fish, mustard, chives, sweetcorn and peas. Spoon into an ovenproof dish or 6- 8 ramekins.

    4. Spoon the potato on top and sprinkle with cheddar cheese. Pop in the oven for 20 - 25 mins or until golden and bubbling at the edges. Alternatively, cover and freeze the pie or mini pies for another time.

    what i am unsure of is when you spoon the potato on top in step 4, would you be spooning it over the fish which would be raw as it has not been cooked up to this step. would raw fish cook under the potato in the oven in 20-25 mins?

    25 minutes in the oven will cook the fish.

    If you are unsure, then cook the fish in the sauce, allow to cool, then add the potato topping and freeze or bake.

    The fish should cook within that time at that temperature.
