2 bets lined up for this one & using Skybet but bet365 offering 1/4 odds (I don't have an account with them) :

    1. Gordon Lord Byron 12/1 with Skybet (PP offering a measly 8/1)

    2. Sole Power 10/1 with Skybet (PP 5/1)

What are peoples thoughts on the above? I'm a big GLB fan but would be kicking myself if SP wins so betting on both!

Wouldn't back SP over 6f with your money!!

His best finish I can find over 6f is 3rd in York over 5 years ago

On firm ground Sole power would have no difficulty with the trip, if he get the gaps and is on form he wins.. Lot of ifs but i don't think the 6 furlongs is any concern at all.

Will be cheering on my old buddy GLB, hope the minimum they come home with is some prize money. I'll have my few little euro's on as well:)

I'm trading this meeting and looking forward to it. Should be a super day of racing. I have Aerovelocity down as the winner. Sterling City 2nd and probably Gordon Lord Byron 3rd.

In the Mile I think Glorious Days is overs and can give it a shake.

In the cup I think Faarraj will be forgotten in the betting pools locally and you will find a good price.

In the vase I am hoping dominant gets a well watered track and with that cushion will relish the 2400m. Won last year. Needs tempo but with magic man on is very capable.

Undercard is a ripper too. Race 1 is between Beauty Flame and Dundonnell.

Doing form for the rest later

That was the prep race for the Sprint. Peniaphobia showed some really nice improvement, especially for a three year old, so you can see why it is among the favourites tomorrow. Thought the real sob story in that race was Lucky Nine which ended up getting boxed in, lose momentum and get demoted to last before managing to finish strong. 13/2 best price - think if it gets the run this time, it wins.

Is this on ATR or where do i watch it?

EDIT; I see it's free view on Racing UK

What a horse Able Friend is, it just destroyed the field in the Mile just now.

Designs On Rome wins the Cup with a purse of £1.1M in a thrilling finish. Wonder how Pat Flynn feels about that.

Goes to show how strong the European sprinting division is. GLB ran a good race at 53/1 and Sole Power went off 38/1. What were the British bookmakers SP on them?

I'd say he's delighted, well that's if the racing post is to be believed as his wife still owns it!:D

Flintshires victory just underlines everything bad about American racing and how horrible it is. Main sequence was a punching back prior to getting the needle. now he is viewed as a demigod in America. meanwhile, Flintshire travels more than halfway around the world and redeems himself without the aid of drugs and its nothing more than a frank to Main Sequence.
