Which should I get the Wii U 8Gbbasic pack for approx. €200 or the 32Gb for €300 Im only planning to buy a few games with it and not sure do I need to buy another controller separately for if we want to play multiplayer games?

If you buy the 8GB version you don't get the charging cradle for the WiiU Gamepad. Which, if it's for small kids, you will be glad not to have as you can't knock the expensive and breakable Gamepad off it's charging cradle if you don't have one.

You will also not get a WiiMote sensor bar. You can buy these pretty cheap, or make one yourself using 2 candles (it's just 2 IR emitters a fixed distance apart). You don't really need one most of the time but if you plan on playing Wii Games you'll need one. And there were a lot of great Wii games.

If you want to play Multiplayer, or want to play games on the Telly without worrying that your kids will smash the Gamepad, you will need to get at least 1 WiiMote and 1 Nunchuck. At this rate you can probably buy a Wii, take the nunchuck and wiimote out of the box and sell it on cheaper than you can buy the Wiimote and nunchuck separately. You'll need X-1 of each for multiplayer where X = number of children, up to a max of 4, depending on the number of players the game(s) support(s) and of course whether you want the kids using the Gamepad as the primary controller. There's also the option of the ProController but they cost a fortune, are hard to find and no one is really sure whether they're the primary, secondary or tertiary control method.

This is covered off in a lot of similar threads on the forum in greater detail. Dig one up! Mods - a sticky of one of the better threads might be in order if that's possible and hasn't already been done.
