I could not take this on the plane because of security. I was told they could post it out to me but, when I looked into it the cost was close to 50 euro Screw that.

    But,
It's free for collection at Stansted Airport until Jan 11, 2015.

I'd hate to see this just thrown out. This would be ideal if you lived near the airport or were traveling through with check in luggage .

PM if you're interested and I'll give the website you'll need to go to and the code.

This is still sitting in Stansted airport for free to be picked up.

So because of "security" you couldn't bring this on board in your hand luggage but they'll happily hold onto it for you. I'm guessing they can't be too worried about it if they'll store it somewhere for you and then presumably will be happy to handle it should you pay them to post it to you. I wonder will they send it unattended via Airmail for the €50?

This nonsense in airports annoys me no end. I ended up having a TOBS shaving cream taken off me in an airport in France even though there was no issue getting it out through Dublin. I only got to use it once I think.

Trying to travel with a safety razor unless you have a check-in bag is pretty much a non-runner.
