Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 SM-T530 10.1 Inch

    Hi, I've bought my son the Galaxy Tab SM-T530 10.1 Inch for Christmas. I've been on to Samsung about which device I need to hook it up to the Tv. (We have a Hd ready Tv with a HDMI slot). They have told me I will need a ' Samsung All Share Cast Dongle'.
    I've priced these online and they are over €60-€70.
    My question is is there any other device/dongle that would do the job cheaper please????

    A Chromecast will set you back €40 or so in curry's or Argos.

    Get yourself one of these MHL Micro USB to HDMI Adapter cables on eBay, cheap as chips and working perfectly with my Tab 3 and other devices.

    Be careful with those connections as some are Galaxy Tab specific and wouldn't work with a Galaxy smartphone and vice versa.

    I bought that exact one and it works on Galaxy S3, S4, S5 and Tab 3 10.1. My mate has the Tab 4 10.1 and said it works also. It didn't work on my One M8 though.
