Tesco petrol prices

    Tesco are giving 5 cents/ litre off vouchers, but their petrol are the dearest around. We went there yesterday and the petrol was 147.9, it was 139.9 in the nearby Applegreen

    Looks like Tesco are getting desperate with their recent financial difficulties. Stopped shopping there long ago due to constant price increases.

    Tesco have always been more expensive for fuel - I don't think they ever claim to be cheap.

    They were one of the cheapest around in Limerick. Now they are about average. May be an area specific issue.

    the one in clarehall in dublin was consistently the cheapest around until about a year ago.

    And now they are the dearest. Topaze right beside it is 143.9 today. Clarehall still 147.9.
    However, there were only 3 cars there at lunch time on a Saturday. Usually queues are long on a Saturday. They were at Applegreen
