Oil boiler needs constant bleeding / resetting

I have a Firebird 90 oil boiler and I've noticed over the last few weeks that it sometimes wont kick in when I turn on the heating. To get it going I have to go out and hit the reset button. It usually kicks in then but once or twice I've had to open the bleeding nut to get the oil flowing and then hit the reset.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hasn't been serviced in about 2 years. I should probably get that done.

I would guess that could very well find and remedy your issue.
