Does named driver experience count if I have 1 year NCB?

Just got my renewal package which came out €300 more than what I paid last year.
I was told by the broker that my named driver experience (of 3 years) doesn't count anymore, as I have my own 1 year NCB.
They also told me that it's going to be the same case with every other broker/insurance company.
    Is this really the case?
I tried to shop round online, but I can't fill in named driver experience+ NCB, it's ether that or the other.

In this case you should ring them instead. Try a few brokers and companies and see what they accept.

So you had 3 years named up to last year then went on your own policy? Did you stop been a named driver?

Some companies might allow a discount but phoning would be the best option - online quotes would be assuming named driving experience is bang up to date.

    I just did a test quote - I'm a broker.

Putting in 1 year bonus and 3 years named up to last year - made a difference of over 300euro with some companies. Just a rough idea - obviosuly depends on age, car etc

After some calling around, and hearing some crazy quotes, I decided to stay with my current broker and pay the extra 300.
I got a quote of 1800 from my former broker, when my current one is offering me 947!
