    I might have a rat / mouse problem in my attic . ..

    Can anyone tell me do these Ultrasonic Repellent Devices work?

    If they are already there they do nothing. If the rodent is looking for a new home it's deter them

    Are you serious??? I think I have rats in the attic . .

    I can't put poison out - because they will die somewhere I can't get at and I'm told that the smell is terrible?

    Then get an exterminator. Once that's sorted, then get the plugs.

    Its much more likely to be mice than rats, just get some cheap old fashioned mouse traps and try that first.

    I had a few mice in a dry wall before,

    The electronic thing did get them to move along in a few days. It would be akin to us living under the tarmac at Dublin airport
