    Hi,

I am just looking to see if I should have received a christmas bonus?

I am currently on back to education allowance since september this year. Before that I was receiving payments from FAS for a one year period. Before that I was on job seekers for a year and half.

When looking on the welfare site it says

Back to Education Allowance (people coming from jobseeker's payments must have been on their payment and/or BTEA for 15 months)

In my eyes I should have received it? Am I wrong?

    Thanks

I would imagine that the FAS payment you received does not equal BTEA so that you do not have a continuous period of 15 months between JS and BTEA, so that the count down starts from September...you wouldn't be normally able to add them up separately.
